SCRIPT WRITING
COMICS: extensive credits on Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Warner Bros’ Tom & Jerry, and Hasbro’s Action Man ATOM. Expert understanding of visual storytelling, narrative structure, and character development.
GORILLAZ: script writer for Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s animated band, writing dialogue and devising narrative for virtual band members across all media. Responsible for world-building, lore development, expanding character backstories, scripting dialogue for music videos, press interviews, animated shorts, and the Webby-Award winning interactive Free Murdoc experience.
CONVERSATION DESIGN
DAZN: lead conversational designer, working with developers to build a digital assistant for sports streaming service DAZN. I was tasked to create a memorable, humorous, on-brand bot personality, then script conversational flows to tackle a broad range of complex customer queries.
GORILLAZ: scripted a voice and messenger chatbot version of virtual band member Murdoc Niccals, which engaged fans in an evolving, real-time story, tasking them to help free Murdoc from prison. Devised the narrative, interactive dialogue and digital assets. The Free Murdoc experience won three industry awards.
